1. Keep up with us on our anniversary trip to Portland and the Sasquatch music festival.

  2. Mini Roadtrip

A few weekends ago, joined by the company of friends, we headed down South to enjoy the much talked about Avocado Festival in Fallbrook, CA. But after arriving and seeing at most 5 avocado stands, we realized it was nothing more than a little street fair and we were slightly annoyed (and so was this guy).

    But this looked fun.

So after we walked up and down the entire venue, we decided we should make the most of our trip and drove a little further to a coffee shop that we had heard a lot about. But unlike the festival, this historic railroad station turned coffee shop not disappoint. Feast your eyes on the Pannikin

We could have stayed there all night but we needed some food so we headed to Pizza Port before going home…

These two spots are now some of our favorites and they definitely made our drive worth while.

  3. The Color Run!

Had a blast running this race and capturing it all on a disposable camera

  4. House Update

Little by little we’ve been making additions and changes to our house and it’s finally starting to feel like a home. We painted the kitchen wall a lovely seafoam color, hung frames above our couch, splurged on lamps, and added a little coffee/ tea cart that is constantly being restocked by free take-homes from Peet’s (hooray for barista perks). These bright sunflowers add a wonderfully fresh feeling too. Enjoy the newness!

  5. Our Great Outdoors

Apparently March flew by us without us even realizing. Many birthdays were celebrated (including Ally’s), David attended SXSW in Austin, Texas, road trips were taken, and we slowly adjusted to the ever changing springtime weather. I can’t believe that we’re coming up on the middle of April but we are back to documenting the little events and moments that make up our lives.

In January we started a garden and now that it’s Spring it’s really exciting to see what was once seed growing into beautiful green herbs and veggies. Here’s a tiny peak of what our garden looks like for now but with the recent rainfall, these little guys are bound to shoot up even more.
